BRAIDS
Single Braids
Also called box braids, this technique is used to form loose sections of natural hair into braids from root to end.
Micro Braids
In this technique, braids are made extremely small using human or synthetic hair. Braids can either be completed from root to end or done just halfway, leaving the rest of the hair loose and hanging.
*If you choose to get microbraids, be very cautious. Microbraids use small sections of your own hair attached to heavier sections of synthetic or human hair to create a longer, fuller look. The weight of the extensions causes stress to your scalp, often resulting in breakage or hair loss.
Braid Extensions
Using synthetic or human hair, braids are created by adding synthetic or human hair into the natural hair from root to end to create a fuller, longer style. This method can also be used to create two-strand twists.
Cornrows
Cornrows are a braiding technique that secures braids flatly on the head. They can be created in a variety of styles and patterns.
Cornrow Extensions
In this technique, cornrows are braided flat on the head using synthetic or human hair for a fuller or longer look.
